St. Edmund of Canterbury Council#7669 Knights of Columbus is offering two (2) $500 academic scholarships to graduating High School Seniors pursuing a post secondary school education.

To qualify, the applicant must be:

1 - The son or daughter of a member of St. Edmund of Canterbury Council 7669 in good standing. Also the son or daughter of a deceased member of St. Edmund of Canterbury Council if he was a member of the Council in good standing at the time of his death.

or

2 - Grandchildren of a member Knight, in good standing, so long as they are active members of the Catholic Church.

or

3 - A member Knight of St. Edmund of Canterbury Council #7669

The applicant must be a member of the High School Senior Class qualifying to graduate in June.

This scholarship award is intended to assist in your education at an accredited post secondary school or college of your choice. Note: All things being equal, preference will be given to the son or daughter of a Knight of Council 7669 in good standing.

Applications must be returned to the Scholarship Committee, address shown above, by or before April 15 to qualify for consideration.

The application is in three parts with the major portion of Part II being completed by your high school.

We strongly suggest that Part II be given to your school immediately to allow sufficient time to prepare their part of this application.

The filing date should be called to the attention of the guidance personnel of your school, since delinquent applications may disqualify an applicant from consideration of an award.

The applicant is responsible to obtain the signed information in Part II and submit with this application.

To receive the scholarship award the recipient must provide proof of matriculation with an accredited post secondary school on or before February 1following the year of the award.

Scholarship(s) not claimed by February 1 will be forfeited and passed to an eligible alternate selected by the Scholarship Committee.
