This scholarship was established in the memory of Norman Leduc, a
community leader, business owner, and charter member of the Knights
of Columbus council 7669 in Swanton, VT.
Following the example of Norman Leduc’s life, this scholarship is
structured to recognize and assist graduating high-school seniors seeking
to continue their education that demonstrate compassionate leadership,
community involvement, financial need, and independent fortitude.
Eligibility:
• Graduating high school seniors that live or go to school in Franklin
or Grand Isle Counties
• Entering any full-time post-secondary program
• Demonstrate academic achievement
• Demonstrate financial need
• Demonstrate community involvement/service
• Demonstrate leadership skills
Amount: $1,000 scholarship
Selection: Financial need, recommendation letter, and essays, and
academic achievement
